Aircraft Independant
The GT-2A has been successfully deployed on a wide variety of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Airborne Petroleum Geophysics uses aircraft capable of producing the best possible data in the safest achievable manner. The aircraft of choice for fixed wing surveys is the Britten Norman BN2T Islander. The BN2T has twin turbine engines for safe offshore operation, while onshore the BN2T is capable of acquiring data at 80 knots resulting in high spatial resolution data. For the best possible spatial resolution APG deploys the Lama helicopter.
