Dr Andy Gabell – President
Andy has more than 30 years experience in remote sensing and geophysics. He has a Ph D from the University of Adelaide, undertook post-doctoral studies at NASA JPL, and was a member of the ASTER Science Team. Andy was a senior manager in CSIRO’s Perth office, before becoming the Global Manager of R&D for World Geoscience Corporation, and then for Fugro Airborne Surveys. Andy is a co-founder of Canadian Micro Gravity and Airborne Petroleum Geophysics.
Richard Horscroft – Vice President, Business Development
Richard brings 29 years experience in the hydrocarbons and natural resources sector to APG. Richard has a BSc Geology and MSc Geophysics (Distinction) from Imperial College in London, UK and started his career in gold and uranium exploration with the Anglo-American Corporation. Before moving to the USA in 1994, Richard held positions with LCT UK Ltd (Managing Director) and Exploration Consultants Limited in the UK. His background is based in seismic and non-seismic geophysical methods including potential fields and electromagnetics, acquisition and interpretation. Prior to APG, Richard was Director of Business Development, Gulf of Mexico Multi-Client for Petroleum GeoServices where he was responsible for generating new MC 2D and 3D seismic projects in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) including expansion of PGS’s new MC3D Wide-Azimuth datasets. Richard joined PGS after ten years with TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company as General Manager for the Africa -Middle East business unit. Prior to joining TGS he was Senior Account Manager with Geco-Prakla in Houston responsible for sales/project development in the Gulf of Mexico.
Dan Olson – Vice President, R&D
Dan has more than 35 years experience in geophysics. He has a B A Sc from the University of BC and is a former COO of Geosurvey. Dan was the Project Manager for the airborne gravity projects at World Geoscience Corporation, and then Fugro Airborne Surveys. Dan is a co-founder of Canadian Micro Gravity and Airborne Petroleum Geophysics.
Wayne Hewison – Operations Manager
Wayne has more than 11 years experience as a geophysicist, more than 5 of these specializing in airborne gravity, and has worked in more than 25 countries. He has a B Sc from Curtin University, and is a co-founder of Airborne Petroleum Geophysics.
Helen Tuckett – Data Processing Manager
Helen has more than 25 years experience in airborne geophysics, and was the Data Processing Manager of World Geoscience Corporation’s Perth office prior to becoming the Data Processing Manager at Canadian Micro Gravity and now Airborne Petroleum Geophysics. Helen was a co-founder of Tesla 10, Canadian Micro Gravity, and Airborne Petroleum Geophysics.
