The GT-1A & 2A have been successfully deployed on a wide variety of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.

Airborne Petroleum Geophysics uses aircraft capable of producing the best possible data in the safest achievable manner. The aircraft of choice for fixed wing surveys is the Piper PA31 Navajo. The Navajo has twin turbo charged engines for safe offshore operation and is capable of acquiring data with high spatial resolution. For the best possible spatial resolution APG deploys either a Lama or a B3 helicopter.
